Light training

We had a training session at college in our TV studio that helped to teach us lots of different lighting methods we can use in our filming.

We learned about:

• Three point lighting (back light, key light, fillers)
• Four point lighting (back light, key light, fillers and background lighting
• Using the lighting box
• putting on gels to create different colours

We also learned how to create different themes and moods such as:

• An interview
• Integration
• Day time tv
• How to hide some ones identity
• How to use colour gels to create different effects
• and many more

This helped us and for our solos on our verses we could use some of these methods to portray a specific look such as an everlasting white background have the protagonists as the only main key subject viewed.
